A St Andrew’s Toowoomba Hospital patient has undergone the first minimally invasive implantation of a revolutionary hearing device.

Renowed broadcaster and sporting identity, Mr Pat O’Shea, loved his sport and entertainment. It was his passion and he devoted his life to the sporting industry, before his untimely passing in 2015 at St Andrew’s Toowoomba Hospital.

The Oxygen Concentrator enables palliative patients to stay in their homes longer with their loved ones during the final phase of their lives.

We are pleased to advise that Dr Shameer Ahmed has commenced full time private practice on site at St Andrews Hospital.
