Graduate Registered Nurse Direct Entry Program to ICU

2 x 0.8 FTE positions – one commencing February 2019, one commencing July 2019


St Andrew’s Toowoomba Hospital invites Graduate Registered Nurses (You must be finished your studies and be able to be Registered with AHPRA by 11th February 2019 for February position) to apply to join our Intensive Care Unit team for our direct entry 12 month program. Our Level Five (5) 8 bed Intensive Care Unit is fully accredited and staffed by intensive care specialists and experienced nursing staff who are available to support staff new to the team. Services provided by the ICU include management of intubated and ventilated patients, haemodialysis, nursing high dependency and coronary care patients which you will learn during your supported 12 month program.



  • Must be a Registered Nurse with AHPRA by February 2019 (Sponsorship is not available for this position)
  • Must be a Graduate RN between July 2018 – February 2019 (February position) or expect to be in time for July 2019 position
  • Must have completed a clinical placement in an ICU, CCU or Emergency Department (or similar)
